Milan | Navigli Sunset Cruise
Join us on our Sunset Cruise on the Navigli. With a private boat, you will depart from the harbour of Milan to then discover the numerous canals and waterways, designed in the XII century.
The canals and waterways have not been open for that long – they were reopened for the 2015 Milan Expo. Whilst enjoying a sip of prosecco, you will sail down the Naviglio Grande, which has turned into the so-called Milanese movida scene; lined with a wide range of bars, cafés and restaurants.
Not many people know how the Naviglio Pavese, a canal that makes up the Navigli system, connects Milan and Pavia. As well as you will find many locks designed by Leonardo Da Vinci, which are documented in the Codex Atlanticus (Codice Atlantico.)
We will have a walk along the canal and take a peek into the private courtyard where once fishermen and washerwomen used to live. The tour concludes in a historical waterfront café with a typical Milanese aperitif.
